Welcome to Breath of Life Child Care

At Breath of Life Child Care, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing and educational environment for children. Our daily routine is structured to provide a blend of learning, play, and rest, ensuring that every child has a balanced and enriching experience. Let’s take a closer look at what a typical day looks like.

Morning Drop-Off and Free Play

Our day begins with a warm welcome as children arrive. Between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, parents drop off their little ones, and children are encouraged to engage in free play. This time allows children to socialize and explore, setting a positive tone for the day ahead.

Circle Time and Learning Activities

At 9:00 AM, we gather for circle time, a cornerstone of our curriculum. During this session, children participate in songs, stories, and discussions that promote language development and social skills. Following circle time, we dive into themed learning activities that spark curiosity and creativity.

Snack and Outdoor Play

A nutritious mid-morning snack keeps energy levels high, preparing children for outdoor play. Our spacious playground offers a safe environment where children can run, climb, and explore, developing their physical skills and coordination.

Lunch and Rest Time

By 12:00 PM, children enjoy a healthy lunch prepared in-house. After lunch, it’s time for some rest. Younger children take naps, while older children engage in quiet activities like reading or drawing. This downtime is crucial for recharging their energy.

Afternoon Enrichment Activities

Post-rest, the afternoon is filled with enrichment activities. These may include arts and crafts, music, or science experiments. We believe in fostering a love for learning by making these activities engaging and enjoyable.

Closing Circle and Pick-Up

As the day winds down, we gather for a closing circle where children share their favorite moments of the day. This reflective activity helps them process their experiences and anticipate the next day with excitement. Pick-up time is between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM, with staff available to discuss any observations or updates with parents.
